Getting The Most Out of Your
Bella Nude Hair
Following correct aftercare is key to making sure your hair extensions live their best life. and you avoid any problems in the future.
Different processes are used to get the various shades of Bella Nude Hair, lighter hair colours are bleached to achieve the desired colour, which means hair needs the same level of care as you would if your own hair was bleached.
The guides below will help you to maintain your extensions for as long as possible, and enjoy a crown of beautiful Bella Nude Hair for months to come.

Consultation Advice
Steps to take at your client consultation:
Assess the client’s hair, colour and condition and discuss options
Offer any advice regarding potential issues going forward
Give aftercare advice (download a PDF here)
Patch tests need to be done at the consultation
Discuss initial cost, ongoing maintenance, maintenance appointments and the potential lifespan of the extensions to manage your clients expectations
Heat Styling
Style your Bella Nude Hair at any temperature that you use on your own hair with the exception of light blonde hair*
Bella Nude Hair is 100% human hair and will not melt, but high temperatures can cause colour fading.
*Light blonde hair* Our light blonde hair has been bleached to achieve that colour, this means that it is more delicate and should be treated as you would if you had bleached your own hair. Use temperatures below 160 degrees and heat styling protection. Bella Nude cannot be held responsible for heat damaged hair and no refunds will be considered.
Application Advice
Make sure hair is freshly washed with a clarifying shampoo to remove any product build up and to aid the adhesion of the rings
Do not use conditioner or other products before applying the hair
Client Maintenance
Always offer your clients regular follow up appointments to resolve any issues or refit bonds which may have fallen out. It is normal for clients to lose a few bonds, especially in finer hair.

Aftercare
Use only salon quality products that do not contain parabens, sulphates, and silicone as these can damage your new hair extensions
Purchase a good quality extensions brush
Never remove extensions yourself, this will damage your own hair!

Maintenance
Do not wash extensions every day, dry shampoo is your new BFF!
Wash hair stood in a shower, rather than flipped over the bath, this will keep the bonds in the desired place, and wash with a gentle downwards motion
Do not apply conditioner to the roots
Use a good quality extensions brush to detangle
Do not got to bed with wet hair this will cause matting and tangling
(Hair extensions can not be guaranteed if this has happened)
Do not leave the hair to dry naturally, hair must be blow dried after washing
After washing, use a good quality argan oil to moisturise the hair and gently section and blow dry in a downwards motion
When straightening use a heat protector
Remember, the rule of thumb for longer lasting extensions is a gently, gently approach!
